JISC Access Management Showcase Event
Event Summary
In February 2006 JISC announced its intention to launch the UK Access Management Federation and issued an invitation to Higher and Further Education Institutions to join the Federation and adopt federated access management within their domains.
In support of this announcement, institutions, publishers, service providers and other interested parties have been invited to attend the JISC Access Management Showcase on 18th July 2006. The event will showcase both national and international development work and give all attendees a clear idea of the requirements and benefits of adopting federated access management
The event will be attended by over 160 delegates from Higher Education, Further Education, Publishers, Service Providers and Public Sector Organisations. This site is an opportunity for delegates to comment on the event, the presentations and the planned roll-out of federated access management within the UK.
